Like The Head and the Heart, WFUV has been on board with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats since the release of their first single. So when Rita Houston and I co-hosted a live broadcast from the WFUV Clubhouse at Forest Hills Stadium on Friday night with both bands, there was a lot of "FUV LUV" in the house, and fans shared their adoration with us all night.

Almost a decade into a career that began at open mic nights in Seattle, The Head and the Heart rolled into Forest Hills Stadium last night. The band has a long history with WFUV that includes playing our 2011 Holiday Cheer for FUV show at the Beacon Theatre only months after their debut album came out.

Before The National took the stage in front of a sold-out crowd at Forest Hills Stadium, I had a chance to talk with frontman Matt Berninger. I've been a fan of this band for many years, but this was the first time I'd met Matt.
