In this edition of Five on Three, Anthony Pucik, Matt Moro and Brendan Bowers discuss the current state of the NHL trade market. Also, they talk about the Devils, Islanders and Rangers and what those three teams might look for in the market.
A lot has happened in the National Hockey League since March 10, 2013.
The Chicago Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup, and so have the Los Angeles Kings. The New York Rangers made the Stanley Cup Finals after trading away their captain in 2014. TJ Oshie of the St. Louis Blues went from a little known right winger to a national superstar. The success of the Winter Classic led to the Stadium Series and more outdoor hockey and Jaromir Jagr became the seventh player in league history to score 700 goals.
One thing that hasn’t happened since March 10, 2013? The New Jersey Devils have not won in the shootout in a regular season game.
