Cornershop with Bubbley Kaur

Cornershop, the team of Tjnder Singh and Ben Ayres, who released an effervescent collaborative album with Britain-based Punjabi singer Bubbley Kaur earlier this year, are organizing a "tweet bomb" in collaboration with Free Tibet today, August 22. The trio are asking that fans please tweet their video for their upcoming single "Don't Shake It (Let It Free) to show their support of the Tibetan people.

The video intercuts scenes of Free Tibet demonstrations in London this past March and examples of political repression, but it also celebrates the ordinary, daily lives of Tibetan people. The Don't Shake It (Let It Free) EP will be released on September 19 via Ample Play and can be streamed here; the trio's album Cornershop and the Double 'O' Groove Of is out now.

Singh and Ayres posted on Facebook that "as there is so much of the videos images of uprisings going on around the world, it may not be as hard hitting as yesteryear, but the cause is still relevant, and so is the fight against Chinese occupation."

If you'd like to join Cornershop's Free Tibet Twitter campaign today, August 22, this is what Cornershop is asking you to please tweet:
