Little Green Cars at WFUV

Dublin's Little Green Cars formed in high school in 2008. This five-piece band was a part of FUV's 2012 CMJ Music Marathon showcase, just before their debut album Absolute Zero came out in early 2013.

The album was a big success, but just as they began what would be a relentless, rigorous touring schedule, the father of one of the band members passed away. There were breakups and another family death. By the time Little Green Cars had returned home to Ireland, they were exhausted and had much to reflect on and process.

The resulting new collection of songs is aptly titled Ephemera, after a poem by W.B. Yeats about slowly fading love and the temporary nature of all things. Weighty topics, but to gorgeous result, and we couldn’t wait to welcome Little Green Cars back to Studio A for another FUV Live session.
