It's been nearly a decade since the Los Angeles-based trio Trousdale handpicked their name from a street sign in the City of Angels. It all started at University of Southern California when Lauren Jones and Georgia Greene found themselves paired together for a project in a songwriting class. They quickly brought on Quinn D’Andrea and the rest — as they say — is history.

Trousdale began their journey with stand-alone singles like “Wouldn’t Come Back” and “Happy Anymore” and eventually included those songs on their 2021 EP, Look Around. They went on to release a second EP that same year titled What Happiness Is before beginning the writing, producing, and cross-country creation of what would eventually become their first full-length project.

They hooked listeners in 2023 with their Make It Out Alive EP which teased songs that found their way onto their debut album, Out of My Mind, which was released last September. Out of My Mind is the result of a catalog crafted with the same tools Trousdale has relied on from the beginning of their collaboration: heartbreaking harmonies, authentic storytelling, and rich melodic lines that champion female empowerment and the sacred bond between female friends.

Jones, Greene and D'Andrea emit the same warmth and empathy live, which was clear in their set for FUV Live in Studio A. They performed three songs from Out of My Mind: “Smart Iowa,” “Can’t Get Your Love Back,” and “If I’m Honest.”

Listeners and lovers of Trousdale can catch them live through much of 2024 on their North American Out of My Mind tour.
