Part of the shoegaze revival of the 21st century, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart is led by singer and guitarist Kip Berman. On their new album, Days of Abandon, the band uses fewer electric guitars and focuses on a more acoustic approach. For this FUV Live session, the band performs a couple of their new songs live in Studio A and I talk with the ever so delightful Kip Berman about the new album and his thoughts on music in general. We’ll hear that conversation and performance during this Alternate Side in Session.
