Bob Mould has been hugely influential to myriad artists and fans for decades now. His catalog of music is vast and wide-ranging, exploring punk, alternative rock, folk and pop through his bands Hüsker Dü and Sugar, and via his solo albums too.
Mould's latest release is called Patch the Sky and it finds him working with Verboten bassist Jason Narducy and Superchunk drummer Jon Wurster again. During this visit to FUV though, the rock legend was flying solo, but he still played a blistering three-song set and discussed his musical process.
Bob Mould is an intensely talented musician and has a very kind soul; he is thoughtful in his words and practices. We had a great conversation and rocked out together. What more could a person ask for?
