Charles Bradley: 1948-2017

Soul great Charles Bradley arrived at WFUV the day before he would play a sold out show here in New York at the Beacon Theatre, for a conversation with me and a tender performance.

Bradley's remarkable life story evolved over the decades through his highly praised final album, Changes. New York City was his home for his last 20 years, and we at WFUV are so sad to have lost this soulful performer and loving person.

Backed by Menahan Street Band, this is a not to miss performance.
