It was a thrill having Chuck Prophet return to our studios. I've been a fan going all the way back to the days of his former band, Green on Red. Prophet has continued to make great solo albums, and the latest has one of my favorite titles in some time: Bobby Fuller Died For Your Sins.

This Studio A session was actually the first time I've interviewed him. He filled me in on the story behind the album's title, as well as what inspired the new songs "Bad Year For Rock and Roll" and "In The Mausoleum." Lucky for us, Chuck Prophet's band,  the Mission Express, made the trip to FUV too, and you can hear them perform both songs in this edition of FUV Live.
