Jorma Kaukonen is a master guitarist, who's brought his musical gifts to Jefferson Airplane (recently saluted as Grammy legends), Hot Tuna, and a busy solo career. He's also been active as a teacher through his Fur Peace Ranch in Southern Ohio.

In advance of the acoustic Hot Tuna concerts in November at the Beacon Theatre and The Warehouse in Fairfield, CT, Jorma returned to WFUV for a wide-ranging conversation, which touched on his years with the Airplane and Hot Tuna, his devotion to the music of the Rev. Gary Davis, and his life today. He treated us to some acoustic blues in the studio as well.
