Difficulties Women Face in Securing Adequate Housing in Tanzania

Women are rapidly becoming the face of poverty in Tanzania. A discriminatory culture and oppressive legal system often leaves them with a lack of housing options. Professor Katherine Hughes took a group of Fordham Law students to the East African Country as part of the 2010 Crowley Project. On this week’s Fordham Conversations we talk with Hughes, Jacqueline Bevilaqua, Jesse Melman, and Marni von Wilpert about their human rights fact-finding mission.
