Born and raised near Providence, Rhode Island, Dan Mills migrated to NYC in the mid-2000s. He was making a living performing "Mommy and Me" music, while starting to write and record his own songs. One night, when he was performing at Rockwood Music Hall, a talent scout happened to be in the audience and asked him to audition for a new Broadway musical. So it came to be that he was cast as Carl Perkins in Million Dollar Quartet, a role he played on Broadway for several years.

Even though he was bitten by the stage bug, Mills has continued to write and record his own songs. His latest album, Something Good, is something good indeed, bearing a bit of the rockabilly influence of Million Dollar Quartet, but full of well-crafted original songs. He brought his own quartet of talented New York musicians to perform some of them in Studio A for this "Sunday Supper" session.
