UKNY for July 23

Yes, I'm still in London for tonight's "UKNY," but I also have New York on my mind — and in June I had the privilege of chatting with New York's Emily King for an FUV Live session. I loved my conversation with Emily and wanted to air the whole of her gracious, candid and buoyant session tonight.
Also in the mix, the beautiful title track of Olivia Dean's debut album, Messy. I saw Olivia in concert at London's grand Somerset House earlier this month and was struck by her incandescent charisma, warmth, gorgeous voice, and openhearted bond with her fans. She's struck a chord in Britain, and I hope she does the same in the States. (You've likely heard her song with Leon Bridges, "The Hardest Part," here on FUV.)
In addition, new releases from HANN, Laufey, and Alice Phoebe Lou, whose new album, Shelter, is out now.
