British sensations The 1975 released their fifth album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language, earlier this year.

Ahead of a U.S. tour that brings the band to Madison Square Garden tonight, I spoke to the group's charismatic frontman Matty Healy.

He explained the concept behind the album's title and song sequence, and also talked about the band's fresh approach to their own collaboration.
