As FUV's Quiet Drive continues, UKNY at 11 has not-so-quiet new releases from Manchester's Pale Waves, Oxford's Gaz Coombes, London's Sorry, and Cardiff's Gwenno (singing entirely in Cornish).

Since the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang ends this weekend, we'll also hear from South Korea's ebullient indie rockers Say Sue Me. Also, a British set inspired by FUV Essentials artist Nina Simone, who would have turned 85 earlier this week.

Catching up on curling? You can find UKNY on demand immediately after broadcast in the Weekend Archives.

Songs played:

1. Gaz Coombes, “Deep Pockets,” World’s Strongest Man
2. David Holmes, “I Heard Wonders,” The Holy Pictures
