The energy Phoenix brings to its live shows is a big reason the band is one of our FUV Essentials. Another reason is that they treat big stages like Brooklyn Steel (where Phoenix kicks off a five-show run tonight) the same way they do the small "stage" of our own Studio A. It's been home to a few memorable Phoenix sessions, and today on FUV Live, we'll bring two of them back to the radio.

At 8 p.m., flashback to 2006 when the album It's Never Been Like That was new and Phoenix stopped by to perform a set of tunes and talk with Rita Houston. Then at 9 p.m., hear the band's most recent visit to FUV (also with Rita), when the guys sat around a table in Studio A in the spring of 2017 and played songs from Ti Amo, as well as the Phoenix fave "1901."
